Q: Healing stage oral HSV1 contagious enough to give gf genital herpes?

I had a tiny cold sore outbreak (size of a pin head), alleviated with abreva to where 5 days later it's just a smooth red spot. On that 5th day I gave my gf oral sex and now am scared I may have given her genital herpes. How contagious was I? What should we do?  We realized immediately after what happened and she washed with soap and water... will that help?

You would be giving her HSV1 not HSV2 in the genital area which is still called "genital herpes" but less serious.  It's unlikely that's what occured since the lesin was healed but there is always a small chance.  In the future - let the cold virus heal completely before engaging in sex using your mouth area.
