Does this sound like herpes?

I became aware that an ex partner (an affair) of mine had a girlfriend who was taking valtrex for herpes. She said she never had an outbreak but her blood tested her postive. I went to see the doctor after I found this out, I have never had an outbreak or anything. I was given a blood test and it came back ambiguious but my doctor said that it can not be distinguished between which one I have {herpes 1 or 2} or if I will ever have an outbreak. She said that herpes is a virus and I may have only been exposed to a small percentage. I have had no discomfort or sores. It has been 8 weeks since I was with this man. Yesterday at the top of my butt crack I had an irritation. I have ezxema so I ignored the discomfort. I reached back and felt it and it felt like bumps. I looked in a mirror and it was a little red with irritation. The bumps and irritation is just at the top of my butt crack. I pushed my finger down on them and i think they were puss bumps because they popped. It is not sore and they have not come back. They did not leave open wounds. I put some antibiotic on it and a bandaid. I have been doing a lot of research on this since the occurence and I believe herpes will bleed and leave an open wound. My irritation also did not bleed. Someone please help me. I know a herpes outbreak normally happens between 2-20 days so what is going on? Is it possible, I did not wipe good enough and had an irritation from not being super clean?

In addition, I did have sex with someone else my fiance four days ago, which was 7.5 weeks after I cheated. I told him about it and we took a break. This was the first time we were together again after I cheated. My fiance and I were having sex and he pulled out and came on my stomach. No cum even touched my back and or ass. I am so confused about this spot. Someone please help!!!!!!! One more Q: does herpes come from the transfer of fluids?

It's hard to answer your question.  Usually the lesions (if it's herpes) release a yellow fluid and then begin to heal.  You can have the lesions typically occur in the vaginal or anal area.  If your test was "ambiguous" then again, the lesions could have been herpes or like you say an "irritation/infection."

I'd recommend taking the herpes test again , with the labe running a control "western blot" test or take the IgG and igM tests (they tell recent or past exposure).

I get bumps like that above my crack as well but, like you said, they usually bleed (although that may be from me scratching them).  Are your bumps itchy or painful?

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
