Hi There!

There is a small chance that the virus can survive in the dampness of the towel, so I would not take the chance. After I use my towel, I do not dry the outbreak with it, I use a blow drier, or I use toilet paper and just hold it there and allow the water to soak up into the paper. I then remove the towel from the family laundry and when I can add it to a load, I do. The soap kills the virus and so does bleach, if the load is white. Then the heat from the drier also plays a role in the virus demise. So the towel is ok after it's been washed and dried. The virus needs heat and an organic fluid without chemicals or soap to transfer.

Hope this is helpful :)
