Hi,
To my knowledge (I'm not a medical doctor), there is no evidence that having genital herpes per se has any effect on lifespan. However, there is fairly compelling evidence that having HSV leaves a person more vulnerable to other sexually transmitted diseases - including HIV/AIDS.
