My partner says he had been tested six months ago and was negative and had not had no other partner until me.  We are waiting for his test results and my question is what about if his results are negative?  Does it mean I had it before and had not had an outbreak until just now after being with him?

I did have a previous boyfriend but broke about 3 months ago.  Never had no symptoms with him, so I dont understand, who spread me the disease?

Please help!!!!!

it's possible you may not know - you might have gotten it from your previous boyfriend, or this boyfriend could have a false negative OR if you had other sexual partners in the past - it could take awhile to show up.  I know that is difficult to handle but unfortunately with herpes statistics so high - it's a tough situation.  Make sure your current boyfriend has a "control test" as well as the actual herpes test.

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
