I am 31, and i've always tried to know every little inch of my body so well that if something were to ever happen i could tell something is different.

Well, just a 4 days agoa I was washing my front under area and i noticed a weird bump on my left outside vagina lip. I got a mirror to look and it looked like a very small pimple with a white tip and it was only one.

As i was drying myself after the shower i noticed that the white edge was gone. So i was left with a sore.

I started to wonder what the heck was on. So i rushed myself to the gynecologist about 3 days later and she said it was already healing and she couldn't tell what it was.

I am going nuts thinking it might be herpes. It could look like it from the pics i've seen on thousands of websites but the info i get is:

- that usually there are symptons (which I had NONE) like fever, muscle ache, swollen glands, etc;

- - HERPES is caracterized by blisters that will later turn into sores and scar. And there"s always more than one. My sore was never a blister, there was never a pus or blood, it just looked like a pimple and after I passed the shower towel it became a sore that is already healing.

_ also I heard that the timeframe between the blister and the scaring could take weeks. And mine was healing pretty much within 3 days.

Please help me!! Ever since I noticed this I can’t sleep well. I have no STD history at all. “I am very clean. I am thinking that I could have hurt myself while shaving (the doc said that was a possibility – infected follicules ??? what is it? )

How can I know what this is??

If it is HSV, will more open sores, or sores appear in the area?

Do the sores usually appear in group and in the form of flower?? Or bouquet?

What else can you tell me to help me?

I can provide you with my email and send pics of it, so you can help me. Im just really feeling desperate. I can’t have sex with my boyfriend until I know what it is. And I don’t want to even bring the subject up if I am not sure. So… what can I do?

The doc said. Watch for new ones. Whenever they show up, run here so that I can look. If they don’t come back, within the next 4 months you come back here.
