Q: Starts off as a red itchy lump on the inside of my butt cheek.

a few days later tiny pus postulates develop within the red lump, not very painful but itchy. It is recurrent but not every month usually during my period. I took a picture of it last time and showed it to my gyno, she said it looked like herpes zoster. I am currently having an outbreak, on the same side in the same place. A cluster of tiny pus postulates. Gyno said it looks like herpes zoster but I don't know what kind of herpes it is. If it is sexually transmitted, wouldn't it be on my vagina or not necessarily.
