Q: Is there any difference between 1.2 antibodies positive HSV2 and 5.0?

I have never had any symptoms or outbreaks, but recently found out that a previous partner has.  I got tested and demanded that she do the same and give me the results.  My results did show positive.  According to my doctor, antibodies over the range of 1.1 were considered positive.  I was a 1.2 and the ex-partner results said 5.0!!  She told me that she has had outbreaks and was not taking any type of medication to treat.  So I guess I'm just wandering what those numbers mean.  I'm a 1.2 and she's a 5.0.  Can the levels go up and down?  I've opted not to take medication due to no symptoms or outbreaks, but should I be alarmed if I get retested in 6 months or so and my antibody levels go up?  I appreciate any and all clarification on this matter...
