No, it's highly unlikely. I read that the HSV-1 and HSV-2 virus' can not live outside of the body but for a short period of time. By short period of time, I mean seconds. So there is almost no chance of getting the virus from a mattress or toilet seat. But hey, I'm not a Dr. Check on this sight, that is where I read it. Maybe you can find it and understand a little better.
