Q: Could a blood test give a wrong diagnosis by mistakenly see Herpes rather than HPV?

I was diagnosed with HPV about 3 years ago!  I have since then had 4 negative pap smears, and was released to yearly check-ups rather than every 6 months!  My question was simply if the blood test could mistakenly see Herpes even though it may be HPV, because I have had no symptoms what so ever of Herpes!
