Q: what is mrsa and can one be cured ot it?

I was diagnosed with a mrsa boil one time. I was treated with antibiotics and it went away. I see you said  mrsa  is life threatening ? Does it ever leave  your body once  you get it? What does it mean when they say it is colonized?

MRSA stands for "methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus." It's an infection with a strain of bacteria that's resistant to certain antibiotics.

Some people who are exposed to MRSA become "colonized," which means that the bacteria are present, growing and multiply without observable signs of disease. MRSA colonization occurs on the skin's surface, in the nasal passages, in sputum or in urine. Other individuals who are exposed to MRSA never become colonized. MRSA colonization may precede or lead to infection in persons with weakened immune systems.

I have had mrsa many times and been confirmed of it being mrsa as well as been treated by a physician for the outbreaks. i was recently diagnosed with herpes. is it possible that it was a misdiagnosis due to the repetitive mrsa outbreaks? i was told that the mrsa virus is very much like the herpes virus.
