my daughter shaved a area where there is a bump on outside of lip on her vagina, i cut myself on it,

but we are not even sure what the bump is, but she was told 4 years ago after she gave birth to her daughter, she broke out in what they said was herpes, but she never had another outbreak. from the looks of it , to me it looks like a hair bump, but she tried to squeeze it and it swole up and she said the inside of her thigh or right in the crease of her leg was sore and her lower back hurt. Does this sound like herpes and do I know have it since i cut myself on the razor that she through in garbage,
