It sounds like you may well have herpes.  You should go to a clinic - you might benefit from getting Acyclovir or something like it during your first outbreak.   You can still have children.  You can also give herpes to your partners; if they give birth during a herpes outbreak, there can be very serious problems in the baby.   It's REALLY important that you use protection, for the sake of future partners.  It's not that hard to bring up the issue - do it when you start thinking you might have sex (when you're kissing, but not heavy into it).  I find it makes me feel closer to the person, and builds trust.  Just say "I really like you, and I need to tell you something, because I want to be honest from the beginning".  (They'll be relieved when you don't tell them you're married. . .)   Good luck with this.
