Q: herpes or not?doc's?tell the bf about my concerns or not?

please help me -

i show some symptoms of genital herpes and have done for maybe 2 years. the symptoms reoccur and have been more frequent over the last 2 months - 3 breakouts..
the problem is im not sure if it is herpes - ive had checks when returning from travelling which were all clear and only ever get blisters in my pubic area - never in or around the vagina itself.

i have noticed something else that seems to be related though - inbetween my buttocks, above my anus i get a hard lump that itches like crazy, then gets sore, seems to split and then goes away. it doesnt weep though. once its goone away i tend to get a small patch (no more than a cm squared usually although has been multiple patches before) of red, very very itchy skin, as soon as i scratch small blisters appear, they burst, eventually the patch scabs over and disappears leaving no scar. this is only in the v-shaped part of the pubic though.
the blisters weep slightly and i cant stress how much it itches when red/blistered.

it has never ventured outside the v-shaped area though.

still herpes?

help!

to me this sounds like herpes. HAve you gotten a blood test for igg specific antibodies for hsv1 and hsv2 ? Also these blisters need to be pcr tested when they are first appearing.  Im sorry for your aggrevation really. Good luck.
