i have been sufferin with extreme herpes for 3.5 months now i am on suppressive therapy but it doesnt seem to be helping at all, i am getting on avarage 2 new sores a week and in 3 months have had 15 sores and very bad ones! is this normal i am findin it hard to cope now

I'm so sorry to hear the pain you are going through. I am going on a month of having sores. I am on Valtrex and it seems to help. I am in no pain but it just won't go away with me either. Did you take a culture test and blood test to make sure it is indeed herpes? My culture came out negative and am waiting on the blood test. The doc thinks maybe it is something else.
