I am 16 years old and I just lost my virginity. I have a urinary track infection. It burns when I go to the bathroom and now inside my vagina begins to sting. It is like a shocking pain. Sometimes it is here and then it goes away. It stings a lot it makes me want to cry how bad the pain is.

Dear Nicole,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are so uncomfortable! I've been getting UTIs ever since I lost my virginity at 16. I've definitely shed plenty of tears because of the pain, so please know that it's completely normal to be feeling the way that you are. You should feel MUCH better after you've taken a few rounds of your antibiotics but make sure you take all of them, whether or not you're feeling better. Some of us get more frequent UTIs than others. I've had approximately 10 while my best friend has only had one. The good news is that there are things you can do to lower your chances of getting UTIs in the future, such as always wiping front to back when you use the bathroom, drinking lots of cranberry juice, and getting up and peeing immediately after you have sex.
Given the symptoms you've described, it's possible that you have contracted an STD. However, in my opinion, it's unlikely that you have anything but a UTI. YOU MIGHT HAVE CLYMOTIA(SPELLED WRONG) BUT ITS OK BE CAL DID YOU USE A CONDOM? IF NOT ITS PROBALLY SO YOU HAVE IT GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET TESTED ITS CUREABLE JUST A SHOT OR AFEW ANTOBOTIC PILLS AND YOUR FINE OR IT COLD BE MANY OTHERBTHINGS NOT STD RELATED YOUR SUPPOSED TO HAVE A PAP TEST AFTER YOUR 1ST INTERCOURSE. BUT DEFINATLY GET CHECKED

extremly painfull. i hurts realy bad when i go to the bathroom. at first i didnt know what it was.It is very irritating.

Yea it is very painfull...im not sure what mine is..im scared to go to the doc..im scared to find out it my be sum sreiouse..How would i tel my parents? Im scared.
