Q: I have had breakouts on my lip ( hsv-1) for years. However, my boyfriend cheated on my 6 weeks ago and now I have a huge outbreak on my face, above my lip.

what concerns me is that even though i have had hsv-1 for years, since a child the sore always comes in the same exact place. This is in a new place, and much more progressive than I have ever had it in the past. IS it possible that I have contracted something new? I havent seen any sores on him.
