I have oral HSV-1 and love to give oral but I am fearful of transmitting it.

I have Oral HSV-1 and so does my partner. We both love performing oral sex on one another but are both very fearful of transmitting the virus to both our genitals from our mouths. How likely is this as we both realize it is a very real possibility.

Herpes contraction through unbroken skin?

Hi, I (male) don't have herpes 2 but my girlfriend does. Since the Herpes 2 virus does not penetrate unbroken skin and enters through membranes, how is it that a male can still contract the virus from a shedding female.  Assuming he uses a condom and it doesn't break, and that he has no broken skin anywhere.
