According to experts at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), infertility may be a "down the road" concern for many teens who contract sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Researchers have found that many teens are unaware that some STDs can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease in women, which can doom their chances of having a baby later in life.
