Study: Women often spread herpes without knowing it

A new study has found that women who don't know they have the genital herpes virus may be unknowingly spreading the virus to others and helping boost the rate of the herpes epidemic. Researchers say women who had not been tested for the virus and showed no symptoms of the condition were still actively shedding the virus in their genital tracts.
