Contraceptives affect women's sexual satisfaction: study

Researchers at the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University have found that many women's feelings of sexual satisfaction are affected by the kind of contraception they use. In a recent study, women were asked to consider their their overall sexual satisfaction, which includes factors such as sexual self-esteem and relationship satisfaction. Investigators found that women who used both condoms and hormonal contraceptives reported the highest levels of sexual satisfaction, while those who used only condoms reported the lowest levels of sexual satisfaction.
