Women who have more "emotional intelligence" get more pleasure from sex, a new study suggests. Researchers looked at data on 2,000 female twins and found that those with greater emotional intelligence--meaning they were better able to to monitor their own and others' feelings and emotions--had larger numbers of orgasms, both alone and with a partner. Investigators say their finding suggests that emotional intelligence may have a direct impact on women's sexual functioning by influencing her ability to communicate her sexual expectations and desires to her partner.
