Study: Great sex is about connection, intimacy

Results from a new study suggest that sexual fulfillment isn't about having a perfect body or the right technique, but more about such factors as presence, connection, and erotic intimacy. Researcher found that the advice of popular culture--which is primarily centered around trying new positions, routines, or devices--does little to help people have better sex. Instead, investigators identified eight components that significantly contribute to great sex, including being present, intimate, and uninhibited. And surprisingly, the study found that participants found very little importance in such factors as orgasm, lust, desire, and attraction.  Read full story >
