FDA okays Gardasil for men

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the cervical cancer vaccine Gardasil for use in preventing male genital warts. The drug is approved for use in males age 9 to 26, and protects against the human papillomavirus, which is the most common sexually transmitted disease. The FDA says the preventive treatment will result in fewer men needing to be treated for genital warts.   Read full story >
