HIV 'Hides' in Bone Marrow, Making it Hard to Destroy

A new study published in the journal Nature Medicine has found that HIV--the virus that causes AIDS--hides in the bone marrow, allowing the virus to be unaffected by medications designed to curb its spread. Researchers say this finding suggests that any potential treatment for HIV would have to target these bone marrow cells that contain the virus.  Read full story >
