Clues Found to How Herpes Invades Cells

Scientists using advanced imaging technologies say they are coming closer to understanding how the herpes simplex virus invades cells. The researchers say they have discovered some of the structures and functions of different proteins that the herpes simplex virus uses to spread in the body. They say this finding could one day be used to develop drugs that can better prevent infection from the virus.  Read full story >
