Check a Symptom

Penis Pain, Sores, Discharge or Lumps

See your doctor. Small painless bumps on the shaft or around the head of the penis could be a mild skin reaction or they could be warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV tends to result in pink, red, or tan bumps or swellings on your penis or anus. HPV is a sexually transmitted infection. Avoid sexual contact until you see your doctor.
