An inspiring story even after tragedy

By twosistersjourney Thursday, January 06, 2011

Five years ago this Easter, my family went through the worst tragedy ever to hit our family, the sudden death of our dad due to a massive heart attack. He was only 54. We all relied on our dad for everything; he was our rock and our life. Each of us had to try and learn to live again and strive to use our dad's death as a means to help others. My sister and I decided to come together and share our story of our individual paths we had to take on the road back to happiness and living again. Our story "Two Sister's Journey from darkness into the light" has two goals: one, we want to help others in similar situations find hope and inspiration even during tragedy and two, we want to give back to the research and prevention of this horrendous disease. We are committing 10% of our book sales to the American Heart Association to try and help gain awareness of this disease and how we can all work together to prevent another family from going through the same tragedy we did. Our book is currently being featured at: www.readerviews.com or on its website: www.rohanpublishing.com.
