I am 49 female, 110lb, non-smoker, 50% of my diet is raw, green drinks (with fiber) and fresh squeezed juices; do not eat starches, wheat, sugar, milk. Fish, very little meat, fresh and steamed veggies, lots of fruits, some nuts, healthy fats-coconut oil, olive oil, krill oil. Do not eat anything that comes from a can or box, bottled juices. I live in a tropical climate with plenty of sun exposure. take daily ubiquinol, vitamin E, reservatol and vitamin C, digestive enzymes with every meal. Walk and swim , stretch regularly. I have regular periods and no menopause symptoms. So there is absolutely no reason for high blood pressure (150) and lipoproteins(a) 4 times normal range. 2 doctors I went to dismissed all my concerns about blood pressure and elevated lp(a). Not only that, but said, based on my look, I can't possibly have any health problems. My question is, since one can't possibly have healthier diet and lifestyle, how can I lower blood pressure? LP(a) can't be manipulated by diet. Do I just leave everything as it is since there is nothing can be done?
