Dr. Davis recommends high dosages of fish oil to supply sufficient Omega 3 EFAs to reverse heart disease. This seems so contrary to the recommendations of Dr. Dean Ornish, who claims his study is "the only scientific study" to acheive the results of actual reversal of arterial occlusion. I would like to hear Dr. Davis' comments on the disparity between his advice and that from Dr. Ornish. I am confused and perplexed about what is best for me - with 100% occlusion in the right coronary. I try to stick to a heart healthy diet and eat salmon, sardines, walnuts, flax seeds, and take fish oil supplements regularly, but after reading Ornish's study, I am very afraid that I am going to far afield. Please Dr Davis, set my mind at ease about how to reverse the plaque buildup. I want to reverse the disease. I am 77 years old, and want to run again!

This article just helped me realize that my dosage in pills may not be enough. I would need to switch to oil form (liquid) for getting better dosage close to 2 gms of EPA+DHA. I have been trying Carlson and Nordic Naturals which are both two good brands providing tons of choices. Many natural food stores (Wholefoods for example), online stores (I buy mine at worldofomega.com) carry these brands.
