Symptoms of Heart Attack in Women

Identify possible symptoms sooner than later.

Download Guide

Hello,

I dont have any sort of heart disease but I do have a condition that requires me to take warfarin for the remainder of my lifetime.

I have a genetic disorder (MTHFR). Apparently because of this genetci disorder my liver over-produces an enzyme that depletes my body of folic acid. Without folic acid my blood tends to clot. I discovered this about three years ago when a clot traveled from leg to my heart. I was in Emory Hospital(Atlanta Ga.) for about a month. This condition that I live with is not uncommon. I urge people to have the test done to see if you  have this genetic disorder. Once discovered your survival rate is great. Otherwise you are at risk for all sorts of heart disease.
