Its relative consistency which is the main factor and not moderation.

So true! Consistancy is the key. I learned to be consistent with my greens which helps keep my PT INR stable. As long as you're consistent your dose won't need changing due to your diet. There are however, many factors in INR stability. Any new meds need to be recorded with your medical care peson. Coumarin is very fickle.

Hi, I am on Coumadin, as well as other meds which are needed to keep me stable...., where I have had two heart attacks and suffer from Asthma. My problem: I have blood taken once a month, and the result varies. Last week I was told that my blood was low and my Coumadin was increased. Can you suggest a diet to combat this problem ? Thanks, Kathy

Is that the website that recommends splenda or canola oil--I would never, never use either one of these plus I would not use aspertaime or unfermented soy oil.  Go to www.westonprice.com or www.drmercola.com and check these out.  You will never use them again.
