    Hi Deanne. 

     

    First, wouldn't you think the school would have sent home some kind of notification as to the change in policy of portion size?  If the point was to get kids to eat smaller portions in and out of school shouldn't they have told the parents of this?

     

    Secondly, hasn't anyone in school systems figured out that balance and moderation are the KEY to life.  I know this sounds dramatic but you know what I mean. A sensible diet, healthy sleeping habits, good exercise and activity along with study of math science, literature and the arts - why can't we have all of this in our schools?

     

    Finally, I like a good taco salad - but that sounds just pathetic.
