I've been having major stomach cramps . Where it litterally has me doubled over . I break out in sweats , get extemly hot , feel like I'm going to pass out , vomit , pass gas , or go to the restroom . Has anyone out there ever experienced these symptoms ? Does anyone know what is the cause of this ? (2) drs. think I may have (IBS) , but not sure . Can anyone out there help ?

IBS or Spastic Colon, watch what you eat especially fatty foods, there is some meds out there for it that wrok you just have to find the right one. You will have good days and bad days, just don't let it run you, think positive and put your mind and body in an I can overcome it mindset. It never goes away but the occurences will lessin if you watch your diet.

I have been having the same problem for6 months now...they were treating me for IBS They gave me All the IBS medication possible and nothing worked... after being in pain with no relief I went back to the DRs and demanded a stoll sample to be taking and they found out that I hade blastocystic homins- A parasite in your intestins...(you should look up the symptoms of a parasite) have you had your stool checked yet ??? Also I have been on heavy antibiotics for 10 days and I still have pain....so I dont know whats going on...The Pain maybe a side effect from my medication called flagyl...If you find out anything about your pain please e-mail me and let me lilsumpnsexy2001@aol.com Hopefully I may have helped you a little bit
Thank you for your comment . I've looked up all kinds of things & found nothing with the symptoms I had . I also had my stool checked a few times for salmonella , because I own a green iguana & now a Red-Eared Slider turtle . I've had all kinds of tests & everything has came out fine . I just had a colonoscopy & since that's been done , I don't have anymore stomach pains . And I stopped taking some of my stomach meds the drs. had me on . Now I've been bleeding since (Sept. 12th) until today . I've been under a lot of stress & my reg. dr. thinks its my nerves , which I have to agree with her , because my "Mama" has bad nerves & stomach pains as well . I'm just now able to eat again & not hurt anymore . I try not to allow my stomach to get totally full , but if I do , I get sick & throw up . So I found a way to eat with out getting sick or hurt . I do still occasionally have little stomach pains when I have gas or air on my stomach . But other than that , I'm doing much better . I'm sorry to hear about what the drs. found with you . I will pray for you to get better & hopefully never have to deal with it ever again .
