What To Do When You're in a Weight Loss Rut

By GregB, Health Guide Thursday, April 29, 2010

Okay, I admit it. I'm overwhelmed.

My weight is the same as it has been for weeks, but that's not what's overwhelmed me. It is the thought of trying to lose weight right now.

The foster dog is still living with us, and our dog is still hurt. Another vet visit yesterday produced the same advice: for him to get over his limp and get off the pain medication, he needs to not wrestle any other dog for a week. Well, every day we've got another dog tackling him.

I haven't been to the gym in a week. I am missing sleep and off my routine in all other areas, trying to keep the dogs from killing one another. I'm continually distracted, and in all ways frustrated.

I'm suspending my attempt to lose weight until we get rid of the foster dog.  Sorry!
