After my husband had a TEE test. He was released 2 hours later to go home.
On the way home from the hospital my husband went unconscious twice in the car.

We had to rush him back to the hospital to be admitted into ER for further testing.

What would of caused him to go unconscious?

HI:  That's hard to say not knowing what was found on the TEE.  Most likely it would be due to the anesthetic that was given.  Perhaps he had a rebound from the medication.  Meaning the medication had not completely worn off, causing a depression of the blood pressure or his consciousness.
