As someone who suffers from LP(a) numbers that are off the chart, this is exciting news to me.  I suffered my first heart attack at 36 and had bypass surgery at 47.  I would love to find out how to get in on clinical trials for this drug!

Take it from a guy who has often had Lp(a) readings well above 200 nmol/L, this IS exciting news.  I would contact Karo Bio to see if there are any Phase 3 trials in your area.  I would also advise you to check out a website called www.trackyourplaque.com .  They discuss successful Lp(a) treatments (note that eprotirome is a THYROID mimetic) quite a bit especially on the forum.  I must disclaim that I work with the team at TYP and it is a paid membership site but there is also a great deal of FREE stuff there.
