Coronary Artery Disease, Diabetes: 80% Insulin Making Cells Ruined, Root Causes

By HeartHawk, Health Guide Wednesday, December 09, 2009
Few disease conditions are so thoroughly intertwined as coronary artery disease (CAD) and diabetes.  The link between diabetes and heart disease is well-established.  If you have diabetes your CAD risk skyrockets.  More importantly, even without a diagnosis of diabetes, you may still h...

For all the scientific medical advances in the past 50 years, heart disease continues to be the #1 killer of Americans. In 1998 three doctors received the Nobel Prize in Medicine for discovering the health benefits L-arginine has on the cardiovascular system. Yet you won't find one cardiologlist in 10,000 who incorporates arginine supplementation in their practice. Why is that? There are over 85,000 published studies confirming that a liquid form of arginine works wonders for heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

Statin drugs, stints, bypass surgery, and insulin do more harm than good. All are temporary and do absolutely nothing to get at the cause of the problem. Our American fast food and processed food diet is killing us. And the few who try to eat a healthy diet don't get enough vital nutrients. So supplements are necessary if one wants to add years to their life and life to their years.

Mike:

Thanks for the comment.  Actually, docs like William Davis of Track Your Plaque fame  and Louis Ignarro (co-discoverer of EDRF - i.e. nitric oxide) have been using L-Arginine for a number of years.  The results have been somewhat mixed but as part of a more comprehensive program Arginine can be of significant value.

Yes, I know a few doctors are using arginine. In fact, Dr. Ignarro is one of the Nobel prize winners. I work with Dr. Harry Elwardt in trying to educate as many people as possible about the benefits of arginine supplementation. The results of changing one's diet, lifestyle (handling stress in a positive manner), and adding arginine to their routine, are not as "mixed" as the failed methods of drugs and surgery.

Health is a personal responsibility. No one can avoid old age and death, but we can do better in managing our health conditions. Thanks for your insightful articles.
