michael was young at heart and i am not sad but very enlightened as to the reason why he died. i am 52 and i know that we all must become more heart friendly, that is eating correctly, getting the physical rest that the body needs and taking supplements too. more importantly we must all become to love ourselves and honor who we really are..happiness is based on externals, but joy is internal..i wish that michael and many others would follow the Louise Hay way. it works and a daily dosage of "The Secret" would also help......rest michael in the peace that you always wanted!Cool

Autopsy showed he died of a drug over dose, and not just any drug, but a highly controled drug used in surgeries.  He had a doctor on his payroll that turns out to be a paid drug pusher and is also currently under investigation for his rle is this sad death.  MJ was ultimately a supremely unhappy person, and very disturbed.  One of the side effects of this drug (Propofol) is erotic hallucinations :-(

Drugs previously found in his home on a drug raid:

— A vial of Versed — a powerful sedative
— Several IV bags containing "a milky white fluid, located in a small cardboard box on top of the bathtub." Propofol and other anesthesias are milky white. As we first reported, Propofol was in Jackson's home the day he died.
— A vial of Promethazine — an antihistamine with strong sedative effects
— A bottle of Alprazolam (generic for Xanax, a powerful anti-anxiety drug)
— A bottle of Percocet — a painkiller
— A syringe
— A vial with Demerol in it
— Numerous loose pills outside bottles
— A bottle of Prednisone — a steroid
— Ery-tab — an antibiotic
— Prescriptions for Xanax that had been filled
— A prescription for Alprazolam
— Oxygen tanks
— IV stands

I know many people are focusing on his strange behavior throughout the years, but please know the children are the ones left with all the memories, both good and bad, of their father. They need support and prayer, and not mean things posted all over the internet about him. I hope anyone reading this will show respect to the ones he left behind. They really need that.

I enjoyed many, many of his songs and videos, and will always be glad that I was able to appreciate his artistry before the negative entered the media.

Thank you for allowing me to post my thoughts.

I know he had alot of recent bad history over the last few years, but I was a teen of the 80's and very much a huge fan of Michael Jackson, I had posters on my wall, pins I wore on my jackets, even the sparkly glove as a teen, I was a diehard fan then, I always thought he was blessed with a huge amount of talent and loved to hear him sing and watch him dance. I will not judge him for things that were said about him, true or not, Only one being has the right to judge and Michael is before him now. I will say, he was extremly talented, I loved his music and his performances. God Bless you Michael, Thank You for sharing your incredible talent with us and making us smile while you were here.

I have been a Michael Jackson fan my entire life almost. I recently turned thirty-four years old. By most counts people would consider Michael Jackson "weird or different" but all kidding aside He was truly a musical and lyrical genious. He brought so much to music in the past and in fairly recent years. I could tell his health had declined in recent years, but I never thought anything of it. This is proof that people should take extremely good care of themselves no matter what. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Jackson family, friends, and fans. God grant them all peace through this trying time. Rest in Peace Michael.

I've been a fan of Michael Jackson since I was a kid.  I've always considered him my favorite singer/entertainer, and knew and understood what he stood for and the sincerity with which he carried out his love for children and the world.  I actually liked him for HIM before I liked any of his music!  I knew he would die in my lifetime and dreaded the day.  For about the past 9 months, I kept finding myself saying, "Michael can't die; he's got to make much more awesome music!"  Little did I know he was even sick.  I just had this unconscious feeling, I suppose.  It stormed here in Michigan when the first bits of news came out saying he had been rushed to the hospital because of cardiac arrest.  It became bright and sunny shortly after they announced he had died.  I know Michael is at peace now, free from the torment of the media, and he can live his eternal life being the carefree child he always wanted to be.  I will always love you, Michael Jackson! <3

I did not think that it would affect me the way that it did, but I too was a Michael Jackson and Jackson Five fan in the seventies. He was an entertainer that crossed over many generations. I shed a tear for Michael today and his family. He was so tormented in so many ways. I believe that he is now at peace. We still love you , Michael.

actually, I'm not surprised considering all the surgeries, and weird stuff he has done to himself/ingested over the years due to his strange mental issues in a quest to stay young and whatever else he was seeking.  What's amazing is he made it as long as he did.  Money can't buy you happiness and neither can drugs or surgeries.  At least no one has to worry about his kids .....hopefully there's some money left to take care of them

You must lead a really amazingly dull life since you obviously feel the need to cause more grief for Michael Jackson's family by making comments such as yours.

I grew up on his music and so did my kids.  I have a child who is mentally challenged and when he listens to Michael's music, he comes out of his shell, sings and dances.  Michael may have lead a bizarre existance and at times looked kinda strange but at least he seemed to be happy which is more than I can say for most people *hint...hint...).  So get a life, grow up, get over your jelousy of his money and try to show some resemblence of humanity and let this family grieve in peace without all of your snide comments.  Cool

Everyone is different and micheal was happy with himself.  My family loved his music and will miss his music .  Rest in peace micheal you are with god now. I do agree with you-  while enjoying his music one cannot get away from the facts of the pressures he put his body under.  All that you said is true but also the desire to make more money (even his loving family are dependant on him for money, apparently), has put so much strain on his heart that it has packed in.  Four or even five concerts would have been enough for this 50 year old but it was not to be.

It is very sad when someone makes comments such as yours when a family is in mourning.  I was brought up that you are to respect the deceased.  There are children that do not have a father and a family that has lost a son and brother.

Unless you lived in his shoes you cannot make the comments you made.  His life is between him and God.

We have lost a man with a God given talent that brought joy to many people.  He is now performing on the greatest stage there is.

He will be missed, but boy do we have many wonderful memories.

Prayers to his family, friends and fans.

I agree with you. I think he should have been taken out of this world a long time ago.

I think he caused his health problems on him self. If you take the hearts of young boys your not going to have much left of your own. Taking and getting what is deserved. He is not protected by the stability of the body unit any more. Who knows where his soul drop off to.

I don't think the person hated M J, but just wanted to talk to someone about the bad times that MJ was going through.  He obviously was not a happy sole.  If he was, he wouldn't have tried to change his skin the way he did.  He looked like a ghost, not at all like who he wanted to be!  He needed psychiatric help more than any other.  I grieve for his family, but maybe they will feel relief after the initial shock.  He isn't suffering any more.  All will remember his music, but all will forget the sad details of his life.  Time will heel.

I don't hate MJ, but I do know music and Elvis Presley had that good American feel to him.  He didn't try to change who he was.  He was happy with himself and he gave that to the American public.  He too was worldwide renown!

I think all entertainers have problems.

Elvis was indeed an all American!

6/27/09 12:55am

Elvis had alot of talent too. He was a great singer with a gorgeous face and voice..Michael was a great entertainer, great song writer, great singer and a phenonomal dancer..It doesnt get any better then that.

Elvis Presley had his beginnings in gospel music and he was a Christian.  He was a practicing Christian and close to God and his family, especially his mother.  He didn't have to dance around and act crazy.  He had a voice like an angel and gave all he could to us.  We were quite saddened by his sudden death also.  I think entertainers get caught up with their ego and the money and don't take care of theirselves.  There will never be another Elvis Presley no matter what anyone says.  He was the King  and that is that!

6/27/09 4:54pm

I love Elvis he was a  great singer and continues to make us happy with his music..... but he was not perfect..he also sinned and committed adultery. He cheated on his wife Priscilla many times and he was portraited as less then nice behind closed doors and controlling. Fame and Greed got the better of Elvis , he also turned to drugs. Why didnt he turn to god to help him instead if he was so religious?.. MJ was a gentle soul.. generous , caring  and giving. He was close to his family and loved his mother too..We have lost a man with a God given talent that obviously brought joy to many people...Too me he will always be the King..talent like MJ's.. does not get any  better then this

I heard the earth scream today, for Farrah .

I am devastated over the sudden death of Michael Jackson.

I feel as if I lost a good friend. I grew up the same years he did, walked the halls at my school cafeteria listening to his hits like " Ben",entered my first disco hearing Thriller, Billie Jean, etc. I felt bad for him when he caught on fire doing that Pepsi commercial (flares in the hair gel).

I always told my kids, its me Maddonna and Michael. We are all 50 and singers for many years. I considered the three of us "buds" for many years.

Now we were all fifty (soon to be 51), parents, and all workin' on our music venues.

Love ya Mike;when you get up there in another two days play some tag, climb some trees

and celebrate! You've made your mark in this world , good for you!

My prayers goes out to the Jackson family and to all of the fans of Micheal. I also grow up with Micheal, just being 8 years older than him. The old and young loved Micheal.  Micheal was a giving person who gave to many others with his money and his God given talent. Micheal you will be missed, but will always be remembered for the joy that you placed in so many hearts all around the world. I remember camping outside all night long along the walls of the then called Civic Center in Baltimore where I live, just to get tickets to see Micheal perform in Washington DC. That was one of the most exciting times of my younger days. I couldn't wait to see Micheal and his brother's perform live. Rest in peace Micheal, and may God bless your family doing their time of sorrow.Remember while posting your comments about Micheal on the internet, He without sin, let him cast the first stone. I love you Micheal!Smile

While Michael Jackson has passed away, I think that this website is not the proper forum for this to be posted on.  He was neither diabetic, nor involved with any diabetic association that I know of.  Events like these are best left up to the news instead of plastered everywhere.  If as this website says, that blood sugar levels are elevated when stress is involved, wouldn't this posting of this on this website be encouraging such stress levels.  This website is dedicated to helping the diabetic take better control of their diabetes and this time they are doing something that I would think be against their mission statement.

I think this is very sad. Such a talented young man. Life drove him into an early death. To be so popular, rich and talented is not what a person thinks it is , I am sure. To just live a peaceful life is what most of all people want. He was a giving man with a lot of baggage he was blamed for. IT's very sad that a famous person gets his bad things brought to the whole world to see, when an average human makes mistakes , but is never heard of. Not to say Michael J. was guilty of anything that was told, it's just that it is sad for a popular person to commit a crime without the whole world knowing it. May he rest in peace now, I believe he is. Good bye Michael, see u again.

KARMA that is what it is. After molesting so many young boys; messing up their lives and than their kid's lives and it goes on and on. It's not even what he did, it's how he staged the acts of the molestation and drugged the boys.

It saddens how excepted he was by the fellow people among us.

That makes you think that this is and was a common thing in many families and homes. I was never, ever accustomed too.

Oh poor Michael Jackson. Maybe Karma will set in through the levels of hell 10 fold and he will have to relive the hell of all those young boys are going through mentally.

His father may join him. His father messed up all of his children.

The parents who sent their children to the wonderland for the price of fame will have something to pay for also. I would never sell my soul or my childs for any man made evil fame. Amen

It is very sad to the death of Micheal Jackson, especially hearing that he had a clean health  fitness test. I'm concerned about the presciption drugs that was reported of Micheal uses. I have taking presciption drugs since 1999, and most recent had a lower back surgery. This is my 8th surgeries, very afraid that this daily use of these painkillers maybe more harmful to my body down the road. I have to take Proxyphen every 4- 6 hours along with sleeping pills. This chornic lower back pain get so PAINFUL at times. What advices can you / readers give me.

Indeed Michael Jackson was an excellent entertainer, but I recall his beginnings.  Nothing can compare to his beginnings.  He was so cute and what a singer.  He had it right from the git go!  I think these more recent years spoiled his image with a lot of the mid to older fans.  His business with young boys and his fettish about trying to look like Diana Ross!  I think that led to his demise.  I don't know if he was ashamed of his color or what, but he was better looking when he had his own skin color.  No one should be ashamed of what color they are because God gave it to them.  He was very confused.  I don't know if drugs played a part in that or not, but if they did it is understandable how he was at the last years of his life.

It's my understanding that his doctor was the person who injected a combination of drugs into his system, that stopped his heart.  I believe that this doctor should be held accountable for his death.  Some of these doctors will do anything for money.  This is very, very sad.

Reminds me of his song "Money."  "Anything!  Anything for money...would lie for it...would die for it...even sell my soul to the devil...you would do anything for money..."

My heart hit the floor when I heard the news.....but I had been seeing Rainbows all day here and there....Rainbow Ave, Rainbow Bakery, Rainbow Lane....everywhere as my husband and I were on a small vacation.  We were on a small ferry when someone said Michael Jackson had just died!  My daughter died August 29, 1988 on Michael's 30th birthday.  Michael was her idol......she was just 17.  Rainbow was always her "call sign" and then I knew.....She was letting me know.  Our loved ones can reach us...and live in our hearts.  Michael's music and talent will live on forever.

I hope everyone knows that Michael Jackson was a compassioned person and a very talented individual. Unfortunatly, his life did not have a happy ending--because he and others focused on the negatives of life. Not thinking of positive things just brings us emotionally down and we become more lonely and care only to be with ourselves and our close friends. We're going to miss him but crying does not do any good. Just think of him with love...

How shocked I was to hear of Michael Jackson's death. I hadn't understood his later years, but admit he was a huge influence on the music scene, not to mention my 20's watching his videos. He was a very talented but mixed up man and I feel sorry for how he turned out. My prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

I have been a fan of MJ since I seen him on Ed Sullivan all those years ago and still am. I want to say that even though he changed his appearance and had some problems in life, that NEVER faulted his music and he is and always will be the next thing to Elvis in my book. My heart goes out to his family, his children, and all his fans like myself that will miss him. I just pray that the media andthe authorities let him rest in peace, soon.

I to have been a fan of Michael every since he started out in the entertainment world at age 5.  I am very sad and my heart is very heavy at this moment.  It seem like I lost a family member.  He was one of the greatest entertainer in the world and he touched people of all colors all over the world.  Whether we understood some of his so-called-strange-behavior or not, at doesn't matter.  Only God knows.  My prayers goes out to his children and family.  Michael I love you and may your soul rest in peace.  Your music will never die.

My 3 year old daughtere used to have a white sequined glove that she wore when she sang Michael Jackson songs.  He was very talented.  I hope he finds that peace that he was searching for.
