Well one more night to see if it happened again and if it did a pacemaker would have to be put in. I made it throught the night and the next evening I went home. Now no one had warned me what I might be in for. As I went to bed and layed down I felt as though I couldn't breath. I told my wife I needed to sit up . She pulled a chair and foot stool together and I slep most of the night. The next day was Sunday and she took my oldest son looking for a recliner. When she spotted one that had a push button she said thats the one. The store did not allow furniture to be taken by the customer, but they delivered on Monday. When they heard of the surgery they were more then happy to load the chair in the back of our van.
It is the people and staff that helped me in any way they could to help me recover. Heart felt sympathy and compassion brought me through this ordeal without a hitch. I found out later that my surgeon was one of the best in the country and my hospital was in the top 20 in the United States for cardiac care. Just think a smaller city and a smaller hospital done all of this. Bigger is not always better. I was only 49 years old but had surpassed my Father who died from a heart attack at age 47.
