Several years ago I was put on Plavix by a PA of a sleep study Dr.   I don't know the reason!  And then Dr moved to Montana.  And after that I had a knee replacement and before it was healed I started having severe rash.  2000 or 2001.  But none of the Dr would say it was any drug I was taking because new Dr didn't put me on the plavix.    I ended up in the hospital with rash all over my body and having trouble breathing.

My new primary has been giving me kinolog shots and it clears it up the rash for a couple of months at a time.   I have also noticed I am unsteady on my feet.   And my mind is fuzzy at times.   I have also had a lot of problems with my eyes and have gone blind in one and have cataract and glucoma in the good eye.

I wonder if anyone else has had these reactions to Plavix?

I have now decided to stop taking it and go back on my aspirin a day to see if the side effects will go away.    Before I started taking the plavix my cholrestal & triglicerides were doing good.   But after taking the plavix I have had problems keep them down.

I hope I will hear from some one that has had problems like mine.    Rich redbrd@fmtc.com
