Melanie thanks so much for this great post!
I'm a new moderator for this site and although not medical trained, I am able to help posters find information on this site and maybe even lend an ear of a smile.
As an ex-smoker of almost five years I was really excited to see the great news about heart attacks and lung cancer.
I also wanted to add that we at Health Central have a Stop Smoking site with lots of help for those out there trying to quit.
