    That is a wonderful review and in line with my own analysis at my blog.  Without having to read it, my bottom lines are

     

    a) on average over about 3 years, people with a BMI in the 30's lost about 20 lbs and gained 10 of it back AND

     

    b) that the coaching described is very similar to what commercial disease management programs are providing to health insurers that want to make weight loss available to their enrollees.

    Thanks Melanie for your post.  I guess it shows that having someone in your corner - even with  weight loss - makes a difference in being notivated to keep up the good work, so to speak.
