I am 42. I have been diagnosed with acid reflux and am taking protonix. I am still having chest pains at times some worse than others. At times I have to grab my upper right arm or wrist due to the pain. I sometimes have a pain in my upper back. I am able to do 45 minutes of cardio in the mornings. I feel weak after and almost feel as though I could just pass out. I have continued exercise because I have thought that if I am able then it is probably not my heart but along with chest pains I feel that I could just go to bed but I don't sleep well. I wake up before the alarm goes off but I am tired. I guess I am concerned because my dad had a quadruple bipass and my uncle has had a heart transplant and so heart disease runs in our family. Can you please help answer my concerns. If it's not my heart I will be relieved but if I need to go to the doctor that would be nice to know.
