The "Recovery"

By OpieJoe Sunday, December 02, 2007

I am taking care of my friend after a double bypass.

She had this done on Nov 27, came home on the 30th.

Trying to get her comfy in a regular bed has been the biggest hurdle.

She would love to lay more on her side, but when she does she feels pressure at the sternum.

I think we just want to know if this in normal and things will be ok even if she does lay like this.

Her back and bottom are sore from laying like that all the time.

Anyone who has been through this and has a few tips and tricks would be quite helpful.

Thanks in advance

Deb
