Dear Dr. Davis, I would love to start a "wheat-free" diet, but everything in the supermarket contains wheat.  Can you provide a list of wheat-free foods that can be purchased in a typical supermarket, or do I have to go to an expense health food store??  ALso, which fruits, veggies and nut...

Hello and thanks for your post.  First - if you get a moment, you may want to post your question to the Ask a Question area as well.  It could be helpful to have it in both places to get others a chance to respond.

As for the answer to your question, this is what I was able to research and locate on our site:

Hi Sue,  The four blue websites you sent me cannot be accessed!  Page unavailable.  But I will post the question where you suggested and see what happens.

    Thank you! Lorraine

Thanks Sue.  The 1st article about the Wheat Belly is interesting, but the food it recommends instead of wheat, such as lean meat, chicken, fish, eggs, etc. are all forbidden by Dr. Dean Ornish on his "Reversal Diet" which I am just now trying to follow (due to a left carotid artery block of 50-59%).  Help!! He advocates nothing but fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and now I'm thoroughly confused!!!
