      <title>Can a person ever go off of a high blood pressure medication?</title>
      <description>Hello, My doctor just put me on Benicar 20mg.&amp;nbsp; I hope to be able to loose about 10-15lbs. through diet &amp;amp; exercise.&amp;nbsp; My blood pressure has been averaged around 150/90.&amp;nbsp; All that I have read said that losing weight will bring it down.&amp;nbsp; If that is the case, is it possible to stop taking medication and see if the weight loss will be able to control it?&amp;nbsp; I hate being on medication.&amp;nbsp; I also am 65 yrs old.&amp;nbsp; My...</description>
