Testing for Heart Disease
No single test can diagnose coronary heart disease (CHD). If your doctor thinks you have CHD, he or she may recommend one or more of the following tests: electrocardiogram (EKG), stress test, echocardiography, chest x-ray, blood testing, electron-beam computed tomography, or coronary angiography.
