Q: Chest pains, left arm pain, tingling, could it be heart problems?

I have chest pain, nothing real bad but like a aching and sometimes a soreness. Also,I have pains in my left arm with my left hand getting a tingling feeling and sometimes getting colder than my other hand.and sometimes along with or after my arm an chest stop hurting my legs will have pains in them or start aching.
I have sarcoid in my lungs an slight sarcoid in my skin, off and on.I also have had 3 seizures which they can not find the cause of. And ,I also have leg swelling w/ pitting at times.I also have 4 large kidney stones requiring surgery soon. I have had all kinds of heart test, with normal out-comes.except for last year when I went to the ER with chest pains one week, they did a EKG and said "normal" sent me home. next week same thing,so I went back to the ER and they did 2nd EKG the same DR. said it had changed a little bit since the first one and stuck me in the hospital for 3 days.did all test all normal.could it be stress ,my heart, kidneys, lungs,or circulation or some type of nerve disorder? I am scared and I don't know what to do.I don't drink a whole lot of caffeine but I do smoke. CryI dont drink alcohol, but I do take methadone for pain also.

Hi Sickntiredofbeingsickntired:

Sorry you never got a response back in 2009. Are you still having these problems. If you are I would visit further with your doctor, maybe they could refer you to another specialist. Your situation is rather complicated, with your health history and current symptoms, so I really can't tell you what may be causing all this. The doctors that are able to assess you in person would be the best to visit with. If they are not willing to refer you then most places will take self referrals.

Best Regards,

Tara, RN
