Does anti coogulant drug has any side effect on kidney funtioning?

My mom had undergone angioplasti 4 months ago. Doctors prescribed some anti coogulant drugs and she continued taking this drug for 3 months at least. Now she started vomitting and she cannot take food. Doctor say she suffers from kidney infection.

Hi Prashanth,

 

There is potential for just about all medications to impact kidney function.  I recommend working with your mothers physician to determine the cause of her kidney infection.
